The Low Carbon Funding Landscape Funding Navigator web tool helps link up potential applicants with low carbon funding providers. Users can search for the latest funding opportunities in the low carbon area as well as opportunities to build collaborations for specific calls. Both public or private funders can add and manage their own funding opportunities.
The Energy Research Partnership gives strategic direction to UK energy research, development, demonstration and deployment, set within an international context.
The Technology Strategy Board’s networks, operating on the _connect online platform, provide opportunities to engage on live technology issues. They include a range of Knowledge Transfer Networks (KTNs) which cover different sectors, including the energy generation and supply sector. The Energy Generation and Supply KTN is designed as a ‘first stop shop’ for all working within the field. In a sector where a range of different organisations provide grant-funding and knowledge-sharing opportunities, the KTN provides information and promotes collaboration.
The EU Energy Focus service is a free UK Government-funded service, that aims to ensure that UK companies, research institutions and other organisations are well informed and have every chance of success in applying for and securing European funding for energy-related projects.
It provides support for a range of European funding opportunities with a focus on Horizon 2020, but also covering opportunities such as the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking. The key area of activity is the Horizon 2020 Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy Challenge, which covers research, demonstration, innovation and market transformation actions in: Energy Efficiency; Competitive low-Carbon Energy; Smart Cities and Communities.
The service includes one-to-one disussion of proposal ideas, webinars on key subjects and review of draft proposals.
